It was said of Jesus that “A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory.  In his name the nations will put their hope.” (Matthew 12:19-21 quoting Isaiah 42:1-4).  For me, the good news is that though I am bruised by life’s challenges and by my own mistakes Jesus will not allow me to be broken; even if my candle is only a smoldering wick, He will not allow it to be extinguished.

This is great news!  This is what my blog is about: seeking to connect with other bruised reed people seeking Jesus.

Lord willing, many of my writings will be coordinated with the sermons I will be preaching.
